73321715 2924072514273564 6756594670324678656 oHoly Innocents Church of the Shire Highlands parish in the Diocese was graced with a duty of hosting 18 members of the Mother's Union from All Saints Cathedral in the Diocese of Kampala, Uganda.

The women who were accompanied By Father Hilary Jafu, a Malawian priest working with the Church Of Uganda, described their Visit as amazing and that they had fallen in love with Malawi.

On Sunday, the women led the Service along with their Malawian counterparts. Mrs Gladys Muhumuza from Uganda Shared timely message of tolerance in her sermon titled "Willingness to Tolerate"

"This is a the Genesis of a wonderful partnership between all saints Cathedral and Holy Innocents Church" remarked Venerable Driven Sikoti, priest in charge of the hosting parish, who is also the Archdeacon of Limbe in the Diocese.

In her speach, the Mother's Union chairperson from Uganda thanked the Malawian ladies and the entire church for being wonderful host, and according to her, the women from Uganda would love to 'revenge' come 2020 when Holy Innocents women pays them a visit.

The Women were later hosted to a luncheon at the Bishop's residence in Namiwawa.
