HIV and Aids programs

It seems almost as if HIV and Aids are here to stay. And the youth remain the greatest victim of them. Many young people are either infected of affected. Some are born with the virus; some got it through rape or defilement. Many are suffering in poverty because they were orphaned by it while others are seriously ill. The list of the effects of HIV and Aids on young people is endless.
Acknowledging that these effects have an even greater negative impact on the church; the department has taken upon itself to fight the further spread, further deaths, discrimination and all related issues. To achieve these; the Department uses the following tools
  • Plays, Music, Dances, poems
  • HIV/Aids and related issues Training
  • Debates
  • Writings/News letters
  • HIV/Aids training manual development
As a diocese we have been able to develop a custom made Life skills and HIV/Aids training manual relevant to our context and catchment area. (Hyperlinked for Downloading)
